What is the dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is Black Tie Optional. Tuxes and floor length dresses are recommended, although formal suits and midi dresses are also acceptable. Please be mindful of your footwear as the ceremony takes place on grass.

The dress code for the welcome drinks is dressy casual. The entire event will be taking place indoors.

If I am coming in from out of town, which airport should I fly into?

We recommend flying into San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to avoid Bay Bridge traffic, although you can also fly into Oakland International Airport (OAK) depending on flight availability from your departure city.

If I don’t live in the Bay Area, where do you recommend staying?

The 1 Hotel, Hyatt Place, and LUMA Hotel are conveniently located near the freeway to get to Kohl Mansion on Saturday, and are in great neighborhoods to enjoy yourself before the wedding. If there is a particular neighborhood that you would prefer to stay in, we are happy to send alternative recommendations.

How should I get to the venue?

We recommend taking Lyft/Uber/Taxi to the venue. There is a full parking lot on site if you plan on driving and parking.

Can I bring a date?

Our formal invitations will indicate whether you are invited to bring a guest to the wedding. When recording your RSVP, please be sure to include their full name.

Are my kids invited?

We love your kids, but our wedding is an adult-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy themselves. Thank you in advance for making arrangements ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us.

I have dietary restrictions and/or allergies. How should I let you know?

When it comes time to RSVP, you will be given the opportunity to note any allergies and dietary restrictions with your meal choice.

May I take photos?

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking any photos during the ceremony, otherwise you are more than welcome to!
